Celebrate with us at the inaugural Rose Park Winter Market, organized by the Friends of Rose Park & powered by neighborhood volunteers.

Come for Cipolla Rossa wood-fired pizza, Bun’d Up “gua bao” and rice bowls, Pearl Fine Teas, Lobster Maine-ia seafood, and much more. In addition to our regular market favorites, we’ll have pop-up gift shops and wreathes. DC Urgent Care will also be on site to provide COVID-19 testing.

Where: Rose Park (26th and O Streets NW)

When: 3 pm to 7 pm on Wednesdays Nov. 18 – Dec. 23rd.

Come see old friends and meet new neighbors — outdoors, following the city’s pandemic safety precautions, under the glow of string lights.

See you Wednesday at the park!

Vendors:

In light of the community demand for outdoor venues, the Friends of Rose Park is moving forward with a Holiday Market at 26th & O street – Basketball court area. The Hours will be 3-7 pm every Wednesday beginning November 18 and continuing until December 23rd.

Many of our summer/fall Vendors (Pizza, Fish, Taim, Olive Oil, Tea, etc.) are excited to participate in the Holiday Winter Market.

Plus we have several new Vendors set up and ready to go (Tugooh Toys, The Dough Jar, and a few surprises). We have partnered with DC Urgent Care to provide PCR Covid testing (see more below). The Friends of Rose Park seeks to provide Vendors that our neighbors need and want. We also want to facilitate fun social gatherings that will enhance the community involvement with parks and do so in a safe outdoor environment. We hope we can help bring fun back to Georgetown – imagine shopping for your vegetables and fish and bread under sparkling holiday lights while humming along with holiday tunes and sipping hot chocolate.

We really want to boost the spirits of our neighbors through the holiday season. Thanks to donations from Nancy Taylor Bubes and MC Dean Building Intelligence, we think we can create a wonderful outdoor holiday vibe that everyone will enjoy. If neighbors and friends want to show their appreciation, they can donate through our website.

Additional funds are needed to bring on more staff and enhance the environment. All of your support is appreciated.

Note, people who want a COVID-19 test can simply walk up and present a photo ID and insurance card at the time of testing. No registration and no appointment is needed. Covid-19 testing is free for all individuals with insurance.

We are continuing to work with East Banc developer, Anthony Lanier and Ian Callendar of Suite Nation to open the Winter Holiday Market at M@Penn Triangle in December and will provide more information as it becomes available.
