• The list below outlines FRP's general direction for 2007. On-Going activities, funded mostly through Spring Fundraiser: • Significantly supplement the maintenance of the Park, both landscape and hard-scape. • Host the same events as in 2006; see Calendar. New initiatives, some of which will require special fundraising: • Represent the interest of the community with regard to the DCDOT Path development. • Work with DCPR to have the existing, broken water fountains either repaired or replaced. • Initiate a summer, outdoor "Movie Night" in the Park. • Re-plant around tennis courts (damaged during court resurfacing) and plant slopes surrounding recreation center. • Organize the Spring Fundraiser via all-volunteer efforts.
