May 5 to October 27, Wednesdays (3:00 – 7:00): Farmers Market Find fresh produce, cheeses, and other delicacies; direct from the farmers. May 23, Sunday (5:00 start): 8th Annual CAG Summer Concert Series Organized by Citizens Association of Georgetown (CAG); a three concert series, with one in Rose Park (May 23) and two in Volta Park (June 20 and July 4). Start time is 5pm. Rain dates are the following Sundays. September 26, Sunday (11:00 – 1:00) Sunday in the Park A great family event with entertainment for all – including the Rose Park dog show (open to dogs of all shapes and sizes), a doubles tennis tournament, moon bounce, and face painting. October 6, Wednesday (6:30 - 8:30): Friends of Rose Park, Inc Benefit Annual cocktail party to raise funds for on-going maintenance and events in the park. Kitty Kelley will host this year’s event in her lovely Georgetown home. October 27, Wednesday (4:00 – 6:00): 6th Annual Fall Pumpkin Festival For kids; pumpkins, cider, ghosts and goblins; costume parade.
